Fetal MovementFrom: Katherine (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 30 Oct 1999 17:54:50 -0500 (CDT)
I am currently 20 weeks and 2 days and, as of today, have felt the baby move for the first time. My concern is that I began feeling the movement two hours ago and it is VERY strong--fast, thumping, sudden movements that have not stopped since they began. I would not be worrying if I had felt movement prior to this evening, but I had felt NOTHING--not even a flutter. Is this normal? I can feel the movements internally as well with my hand externally. I have a bicornuate uterus and am afraid that something may be wrong! Is my baby trying to tell me that it is in distress? (My heart seems to be beating faster than normal, too.) Please help if you can. Thanks!
