I had a D&E done on 9/27/99. Today, I woke up with extremely bad menstrual cramps and brown discharge. Could this be my period finally? It hasn't gotten any heavier or hasn't gotten red yet, so I wasn't sure. Should I be bleeding more for it to be my period? If this is not my period, what could the brown discharge be? Just a type of break-through bleeding? I am very anxious to get my body back to normal as my last D & C (both due to miscarriages) was done in 2/99, and I didn't have a period for 3 months. Please help!
