Taking Prometrium and ? after D & EFrom: Julie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 26 Oct 1999 07:13:59 -0500 (CDT)
I had a D & E on 9/27. My doctor has scheduled for me to come back into his office 11/15 if I have not had a period by then. My last D & C prompted a period of 3 months with no period. He said this was probably due to anovulation, which I am pretty sure is what happened. Anyway, he said he'd give me Prometrium and something else (not Clomid) to help me build up my lining and help me ovulate. I know it wasn't Clomid he mentioned because he said it might cause break-through bleeding and didn't want that to happen. Does anyone know what that drug might be? My doctor is out of town for 3 weeks, so I am not able to ask him. I am just curious. Thanks.
