Rubeola vaccination and pregnancyFrom: Irene (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 24 Oct 1999 10:24:44 -0500 (CDT)
The ept test which I just took today showed positive results. I am concerned that I may have been pregant for a week while I had a form of rubeola due to a vaccination I received on July 23. The first day of my last period was Sept. 15 and the rubeola rash began on Sept. 28th and lasted for a week. I have read Dr. Suarez' article "Rubella - Devastating Threat to Unborn Children" and am concerned. Could you please tell me what the risks are, and if they are great, whether I should consider terminating the pregnancy.
