breast lumpFrom: Holly (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 22 Oct 1999 14:35:01 -0700 (MST)
Hello, I am 11 weeks pregnant. Five days ago I found what feels like a small (dime sized) lump in my right breast near my armpit. It's tender when I push on it and often my husband can feel it too, but sometimes not. I have my second prenatal visit on 11/2 and will mention it to the midwife then. In the mean time I am wondering if there are alternative explanations, besides breast cancer, that could explain this? I'm 27 years old, first pregnancy. I don't drink any caffeine, so I doubt it's a caffeine lump/thing. Any ideas? Could it be from regular changes in the breasts during pregnancy? Thanks for any information. Holly
