LH Surge & OPKsFrom: Nancy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 22 Oct 1999 13:57:28 -0500 (CDT)
How long should you see an LH surge with opks? For a week I have gotten many positives (line the same color or darker as the reference line) Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed & Thurs. I am using First Response Pregnancy Planning Kit and the directions say consider two similar lines or a darker test line as a positive. Monday was the only day that the test line was darker than the reference. Should I assume this was my spike? Why would I be picking up the LH for 7 days straight? Is this a sign that I might have a hormone problem? I have used an opk (different brand) before back in March which did result in a pregnancy but the opk experience was totally different. I saw a spike one day and then had no lines appear before and after. If anyone can add any insight I'd greatly appreciate it.
