NOt unless the instruments used weren't sterile. And, for the last many years, amnio instruments are sterilized, single use only, instruments.

IgG means you had CMV at some point in the past but not necessarily recently. A CMV IgM would tell you if if were very recent.

Once you get the CMV IgM, you and your doctor will have a better idea.
