Can amnio-test caused infections such as cmv? I had my amnio-test at 18wks. At 20wks I went for a monthly check with my gynae, everything was fine but at 22wks, after a fetal scan, I was told that I have severe oligohydramnios. Blood test was done to check if I have any infections and it came back with igG CMV (reactive) positive. What does this mean? A few weeks before my amnio-test I had eye infections, 2weeks after my amnio-test my son had a viral fever. what can possibly happened? Please tell me, I am in destress. Thank you.
