Add me to the list of one who would like to know. I had a mc this year
at 17 weeks where everything was OK then -boom -no heartbeat. Mine was
at about 15 week size. My doc thought it was prob genetic because of my
age(41)but no tests were done on the fetal tissue. Some tests were done
on me but nothing conclusive. I did have a low TSH reading (have past
history of thyroid problems) during the pregnancy but was told it wasn't
relevant. Now that I heard that less than 5% after a heartbeat number,
I am concerned that I should have done more testing and I don't want to
go thru another mc like that if it can be prevented. Thanks.
