Last week, my hcg levels began to rise again 3 weeks after the D&C to remove a complete molar pregnancy. My oncologist has discussed two options for chemotherapy: methotrexate and dactinomycin. I have heard that dactinomycin is less easily tolerated. Will dactinomycin be a harsher treatment but make the course shorter? Also, what if any, are the effects of these drugs on fertility?
