I AM A 43 y/o female i have 2 children 10 and 17 my husband and I recently had unprotected sex {condom user} and now my period is 2 weeks late. i took a hcg test that came back neg are my nerves preventing my period? i have always been very regular. If this is a pregnancy my option in this case is unfortunately abortion. Does the hcg test dectect pregnancy in very early stages? The thought of menopause crossed my mind as well but i have had no prev. symp. of that either. any advice you could pss on would be very much appreciated many thanks
