Pregnant while taking the pillFrom: Cindy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 8 Oct 1999 13:03:42 -0500 (CDT)
I am currently on the birth control pill; however, I missed the first pill in the new pack. I am due for my menstrual cycle in one week; however, I have been experiencing some major pregnancy symptoms (I have two children, so I'm very familiar with the symptoms. However, I don't remember having these symptoms so early before.....). The symptoms I'm having are cramps, pulling in the lower abdomen, breast tingling & tenderness, nausea & burning sensation in my stomach and fatigue in my legs. I guess my question is, how possible is it to get pregnant on the pill??? I'm driving myself crazy because and it is too early to tell from a pregnancy test (I'll have to wait another week). The other question I have is, if I am pregnant, does being on the pill cause harm???? Should I just stop taking the pill until I know for sure if I'm pregnant??? HELP!!! I feel horrible & am going crazy!!
