Yes, they just told me to try again as if nothing abnormal had ever happened. Very little true concern was shown, actually. Not that they weren't sympathetic, it was just that they weren't concerned that there might be an underlying problem. When I had my first m/c, I was devastated...I had never thought something like that could happen to me, with already having had three easy and healthy pregnancies. I was very depressed for at least a month, and especially immediately following my D & C. It seemed that the emotional pain lessened somewhat after that first month, but it has never gone away. With my 2nd m/c, I was very upset and cried for a few days, but it was easier for me to deal with than the first. At this point, I feel like if it happened again with this pregnancy, it would just be too much. If this baby doesn't make it, I really think I'm through...it's too hard to go through continuous losses like that. I go to the midwife tomorrow, so hopefully we'll find out if this baby is in good shape or not. I'll keep you posted.
