Can ovulator predictor be accurate 9 days after D & E?

I felt ovulation-type symptoms today that I had felt before during previous ovulation times. I took an ovulation test today just for the heck of it, and it was positive. Could this be accurate since I had a D & E 9 days ago? The information in the kit say that pregnancy or recently being pregnant could affect the results but they don't say how. I know I've read where others have gotten pregnant very soon after a miscarriage. I'm still bleeding from my D & E, so could I just be grasping at straws and just hoping I was ovulating? Please help!
