luteal lag

Does anybody know anything about a condition called luteal lag? I have charted for three months and discovered that my period starts 21 days after I ovulate (standard is 14 days). Talked to my Dr yesterday and he says this is called luteal lag, and indicates a healthy endometrial lining. There is lots of info about short luteal phases, but I can't find anything about long ones. I had hopes that this is what was causing my miscarriages (I get pregnant easily and miscarry in the first month with LOW beta levels). I've had every test except the endometrial biopsy, which we are trying to schedule. Ideas anyone? Where can I find more information about luteal lag? Thanks, Valerie

PS, I get along very well with this Dr -- he doesn't have a problem with me bringing him information...
