Doctors - I need advice on dangers of extensive dental work while pregnant

I am 4-5 weeks pregnant and need a root canal and also have some other
teeth that need work. How dangerous are local anesthetics and x-rays to
the baby. Also, I think the dentist will want to treat the abcessed
tooth with an antiobotic.
