I had similar experience at 16 weeks, mentioned it to my doctor and he said they were quite common due to changes in blood volume in my body. He said they would taper off by 20 weeks, and like clock work, they did!

He told me this was NORMAL NORMAL NORMAL. But I would check with your doctor on this, mention it to him, so he can check your BP and make sure everything is okay.
