Can anyone refer me to where I can find more info on blighted ovums? I have checked the archives and can't find an answer to my question. I went into hospital at 13 wks pg due to light bleeding that had gotten heavier. The doctor did an internal and said (without knowing how pg I was) that I had a "good 12 week sized uterus". Then on ultrasound it only showed fluid and they said I had had a blighted ovum. When do these normally happen? They told me that I had re-absorbed the baby, but wouldn't that be a bit hard to do by 13 weeks? Thanks in advance.
