external palpitations of uterus

I had my 12 week check-up yesterday and everything went fine. The only thing I was concerned about was that when the dr. pressed on my stomach to check the size of my uterus, it felt very weird. I could feel it move almost up to my breasts. I don't think it hurt, it was just uncomfortable. Afterwards, I felt fine. Then as we got up to leave, it was like I was out of breath and had a huge gas bubble inside. Can anyone tell me if I should be concerned? I guess I was more surprised than anything. Thanks for everything.
