Scared....againFrom: Tammy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 25 Sep 1999 06:20:22 -0500 (CDT)
With my last preg I had high blood pressure throughout my preg and was scared the whole time I was preg that something would happen to the baby...he was born perfect at 39 weeks and I had severe PPD for a couple months, I think because I was so worried throughout the preg I did not really enjoy it till the last few weeks, I never felt miserable. Now Iam dealing with the same blod pressure issues and I swore I would not allow myself to get worried this time since things went well last time, and it is going fairly well....but I am again waking up in the middle of the night unable to sleep and worrying since my last Dr visit. So here is my question...the dr mentions IUGR as a possibility from high BP, my son was the opposite he was actually very large... I am 13 weeks tommorrow and at 12 weeks he was easily able to find a hearbeat my current worry is that when I get an ultrasound at 15 weeks that the baby will already have the IUGR...I am thinking if that were the case then he would not have been able to hear the heartbeat? And the baby was moving around a great deal which is good right?
