I am 8 weeks pregnant, and have had on and off severe cramping on my lower right side for the last 2 weeks, and have also been spotting every day for over a week now. Is it possible that I am having a period? Is that common during pregnancy? It is not heavy like a period, but only comes when I go to the washroom and wipe. It is red, and I have seen a few small "thread like" drops in the water. I would like to know if anyone else has experienced this, and if so, what happened? Thank you!
