I have read many posts concerning miscarriage and DnC. I have not read anything similiar to my situation. I began bleeding at 5 weeks and 3 weeks later am still bleeding. It slowed down for a while then picked up over the weekend. It was never heavier than normal period but was often thicker and darker in color than a period. I passed material all weekend and it is slowing down. I have been seen by doctor and so far he is just testing to see if levels are going down to see if Dnc required. Is this normal to go three weeks bleeding and miscarring. Is it common to let it go for so long. I feel comfortable with my doctor but what I have heard of women having a spontanious miscarriage it is over and done with much sooner.
