I had a mc on 8/9/99 with no D&C. Much to my surprise I became pregnant right away again and now believe I am about 5 weeks along . I made an appt. with the Doctor on the 7th Of October, which by then I should be almost 8 weeks. Heres my questions #1 When could a heartbeat be detected by ulrasound? #2 Should I have a ultasound done this early to see if the heart is beating? ( Would make me feel a whole lot better!) #3 When can the heart be heard by stethscope or dopppler? and sorry just one more... #4 Will the ultasound help determine how far long I really am? Thank so much for your time!
