Kelly, I am not a doctor, but I have recurring BV. From what I understand there is some risk of pre-term labor. However with my last pregnancy I had an infection & it was treated with antibiotics at the beginning of my second trimester. I have a beautiful 8 week old daughter who was born healthy at full term.
