Laura You may have a "suture granuloma"--essentially a piece of suture has become infected deep within your incision and has been working its way out for the past several years. You must get a surgical or gyn consult, as this is a chronic problem that will probably not get better without a minor surgery to remove this area from the incision and resuture the area. Good Luck
