is doctor doing everything rightFrom: anxious (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 16 Sep 1999 15:33:23 -0500 (CDT)
my wife (28 years old) and I (34) have been trying to get pregnant for 10 months. after trying for about 8 months w\o any drugs, her doctor decided to put her on clomid (100mg). still nothing. he had her progesterone level checked and the result is 11.6. is that high, low, normal...what is the range, and should be at day 24 (28 day cycle) ??? the new drug is called prometrium. she's suppossed to start that on the second day of her ovulation. what does it do ? how does it help the low progesterone levels? should he be checking to see if her tubes are blocked?? should we just see a fertility specialist? and yes i've been checked! my sperm count is 130 million ...the range is 20 million to 200 million. please respond...i need sound advise.......
