> My baby boy was born on May 30 and ever since then is I think we need more information in order to offer suggestions. For example, what is your baby's food source (breastmilk or formula)? How often is he fed? If your are breastfeeding, how is your diet? How much, if any, caffeine are you consuming? What is your baby's day like? Is he in "things" most of the day (bouncy seats, swings, etc.) or do you wear your baby? It's amazing how well babies settle down if you wear them in a sling. Dr. William Sears has a very good section in his book "The Baby Book" about the "High-Need Baby". It may be worth checking out at your local library. I can understand your exhaustion. A baby that needs a lot of comfort can drain you very quickly. Tell us more about him and his day and maybe some of the more experienced moms here (and docs!) can offer some suggestions. Sincerely, Mary Shoup Pregnancy & Birth Coordinator mary.shoup@obgyn.net
