CryotherapyFrom: Dawn (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 15 Sep 1999 13:55:41 -0500 (CDT)
I had an abnormal pap which showed mild displasia. My GYN performed cryotherapy to remove the abnormal cells. The procedure was performed on the last day of a normal, regular period. I am now pregnant. I have had two conflicting US...one dating conception occuring the day before the above mentioned period arrived and the other corresponding exactly with the above mentioned period (conception occuring AFTER the cryotherpy). My questions are this: 1) Can conception occur the day before the arrival of a normal, regular, on time period? 2) Could the Dr. tell if I was pregnant at the time the cryotherapy was performed by looking at my cervix? 3) Would cryotherpy cause a woman to miscarry if she is about 5 days pregnant?
