Massage can be very beneficial during pregnancy. it can improve circulation, ease muscle pain and it just feels wonderful. You should not lay flat on your back -- have the therapist roll a towel and place it under your right hip so you are slightly tilted to the left.

I had several massages while I was pregnant (and haven't had time for one since Hunter was born!) and I found a kid's swim ring allowed me to lay on my belly in order to get my back rubbed. Some massage therapist have special tables with a cut out, but if not , the swim ring is a good -- and cheap -- alternative.
