Ask the doctor. If they don't want to tell you, keep looking. A doctor with a lower than average episiotomy rate and C-section rate would be proud of it and would be more than happy to tell you.

In some states hospitals are required to keep these stats on themselves. For example part of the packet the hospital I delivered in hnaded out was a brochure listing rates of C-section, episiotomy, VBAC, inductions, EFM, IFM, epidurals, narcotics etc...
