I am curious on the relationship to early engagement and pregnancy complications. I have been diagnosed with PIH (Pregnancy Induced Hypertension). At approximately 30 weeks, right about the time that my PIH symptoms started to appear - the baby dropped into position. I am now approximately 33 weeks pregnant, and have been advised that I will likely have to be induced early - and most certainly by 38 weeks. With the fact that my baby has engaged so early, would this have any relevance to the fact that nature is getting this baby ready for an earlier birth?
