Please take Dr. Marchbein advise NOW. My wife had a stroke becase of , we believe, improper care! She was totaly paralyzed on the right side and after much work and healing now has her right leg totaly paralyzed and limited movement in her right arm. She never got to care for her newborn twins, she didn't come home for over 2 months and then spent many more months in a out-patient day program. Her blood pressure was always around 100/60, during the last few months of her pregnacy it rose to 160/80 and after her c-section, about 2 hours after it got to 172/119. We are still fighting our care and the internet has been great help in finding answers. If any doctors can help us send them our way. We are lucky my wife made it through, alot a mothers don't. and can't tell the story, then the stories get lost. We hope to pursue this so other moms can be moms. For the babies health and mothers health keep your doctor up to date and double check the care you are given. Steve wenkonline@compuserve.com >At Thu, 2 Sep 1999, Harvey S. Marchbein, M.D. wrote:
