Chris, If you have read Dr. Marchbein's response to your question--- I mean no disrespect to him but--- I am 100% sure that La Leche League and MOST doctors and probably all midwives would say that as long as you do not have a history of miscarriage or are having any problems during this pregnancy you are completely fine to continue nursing. I'm very suprised the doctor would give the advice that he did. Good Luck! Celeste
