Dear Jody, My wife delivered our twins, (healthy @5lbs 6oz, and 5lbs 2oz) in August of 1994, at that time the doctors, we believed screwed up! The reason I had asked for this information is because eveyone takes pre-eclampsia so lightly. My wife had a stroke, an intercraineal bleed that paralyzed her on the right side. she did not come home from the hospital for about 10 weeks, then outpatient thearpy for over 12 more weeks. Her right leg is still paralyzed and right arm has limited movement. Now our legal battel seems to have gotten just as screwed up and we need to know more facts! The fact that your doctors treated you and your out come turned out fine seems to be more proof that if she was treated her out come would have been different. My question to you would be how did they treat you? With what meds? When did you start treatment? We have so much that we need answered, it seems the people who were not treated properly are not around to tell the tale, or they don't have the "voice" to let others know. Thank you for your kind words, but because of your positive outcome you may not realy understand the absolute danger you were in. Please help us find the families that need help in understand all the outcomes and risk. Thank You for your kind thoughts. Please look for us at Twinsfest in Twinsburg, Ohio each year. Send us a note if you need information about the twinsfest. Yours Twolly, Steve At Tue, 31 Aug 1999, Jody wrote: >
