For one thing, your body has not yet recovered from delivering 11 weeks ago -- especially if you haemorrhaged afterwards. You do not have the nutritional reserves you would otherwise have. Low birth weight and preterm delivery are more common in a second pregnancy within one year. You can hlep minimize these risks by taking extra special care of yourself -- eat healthy, get plenty of rest, get help with household chores, etc. Also, a prior history of severe preeclampsia increases the chance of you developing blood pressure problems again. Again, take extra care of yourself, including ensuring you get around 1200 mg of calcium daily. Early prenatal care is essential. Good luck. I hope your 11 week old baby sleeps through the night soon -- you certainly need your rest!>
