A false positive on a hpt would be EXTREMELY rare (two in a row unheard of). A false negative could happen. If HCG is not present in the urine the test cannot have a chemical reaction to give a positive result. HCG is only present in the urine during pregnancy.

Start taking an OTC prenatal mulivitamin now, until you can see a doctor. Good Luck!
