Pre-eclamosia, Hypertension, Normal ?From: Steve (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 29 Aug 1999 08:10:52 -0500 (CDT)
Can anyone help me find a medical book, articles, or anything published on what a "normal twin birth" procedure would be? What, besides the "high risk" is "normal" for twin birth for someone around 40 years old. I am looking for blood presure readings, medications, actions. What are some precautions taken for someone that is pre-eclampsic? What might be some reasons for non-treatment? Also can anyone explain why pre-eclampsia is taken so lightly when the outcomes for mistreated pre-eclampsia are so "fatal". Most of the articals I have read pass it off as " don't worry ". We even met one woman that was told that she should see a psychologist, that she worried to much. She did take advice from a nurse a found another doctor, got treatment and the outcome was fine. Thanks !
