Hi Tanya,

I am so sorry that you are going through this. I wish I could tell you 100% for certain what is going on. It is mostly a waiting game at this point.

I can tell you what happened to me though. I started spotting at 6 weeks. Within 2 days mine got heavier and there were small clots. On day 3, I started having the worst pain in my life! By day 4 the pain was increasing as well as the bleeding. It was now like a period. This continued until day 8 when I could no longer deal with the pain on my own. I called my doctor and within a few seconds of calling her everything started.

Each miscarriage is different. I know it is very hard to not be worried right now. Just try to be patient and wait it out. Unfortunately, there isn't anything your doctor can do if you are going to miscarry.

I have known many people who have had bleeding for the whole first trimester and go on to deliver a healthy full-term baby.

Please respond back when you know what is happening. I'd like to know that you are ok. You can also respond by e-mailing me directly if you'd like: mccoy@megsinet.net

HUGS!!!!

Cindy
