Adenomyosis and pregnancyFrom: Jane (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 20 Aug 1999 17:11:37 -0500 (CDT)
I was officially diagnosed with adenomyosis when I was 21 but my doctor had concerns when I was only 17 that this was the case. I am now 26 and have no children. The pain associated with this disease is gradually getting unbearable. Most of the information I have received is that this is disease is usually found in women that have had children. It is suggested I have a hysterectomy. Can you tell me if you know what my chances are of conceiving and carrying to full term?. I have had a miscarriage when I was only 19.
