Just because he is a doctor doesn't mean he knows everything. It is YOUR body, and you have every right to tell your doctor of your concerns. Most doctors are wonderful, but not all of them are. You are paying the doctor for a service and it should be performed right, not just quickly so he can get out of there quicker and hurry things along. If he doesn't want to take the time to do this as your body is doing it naturally, maybe you should consider seeing a different doctor. It would be a shame if this happened again and you weren't able to have any more children if you wanted, because the doctor didn't want to wait. You also shouldn't be subjected to any more pain than is absolutly necessary.
