My husband and I are trying to get pregnant, but after my last "normal" menstrual cycle in mid-July, I started to bleed lightly (around the time of ovulation - 2 weeks after my regular period started). This 2nd "menstrual" cycle in the same month has now lasted for 2 weeks, with no signs of letting up. It is not just spotting, but the flow is not as heavy as a regular period (use of a mini pad is fine). The color has changed from bright red to dark brown over & over. I do feel normal; no pain - phew!

I went to my doctor yesterday; they took a blood test, which showed that I'm pregnant! But when I took a home pregnancy test this AM, it was negative.

What is happening to me?! And when will this bleeding stop??? Why is it even happening?
