<< Hi,

All of the doctors I see are D.O.'s (OB, Internist, and Family Doctor). My husband just talked with a friend who has 3 family members as M.D.'s. He instructed my husband to get away from the D.O.'s becasue they don't have as much schooling as an M.D. Is this accurate?

Now my husband doesn't trust any of my doctors! I have had a very complicated pregnancy and continue to have problems at 28 weeks. Whenever I complain my DH tells me to switch to a "real" doctor! Do I need to be concerned with who I see? I will be delivering at at D.O. hospital as well.

Thanks for any info.

I have heard good and bad about DO's. But they have as much schooling as an MD would. We have a very close Friend that is in Medical School to be a DO. Me personally wouldn't go to one for regular use. I have seen one one time. I just don't understand that term "Osteopathic" Medcine!
