Brain Bleeds in preemies???From: Angela (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 12 Aug 1999 21:39:44 -0500 (CDT)
Hi there, I had heard that a preemie past 32 weeks has a less chance of brain bleeds, is this true? Another person told me that babies can have bleeds even as premature as 36 weeks. I currently am 33 with premature contractions and chances of cp scares me to death. Could you also tell me the problems a 33 weeker tends to have if born that time? Oh one last question, is it true boy babies who are premature dont do as well as girls? if so why is this? Thanks so much :)
