Clomid (clomiphene citrate) is a medication used to induce ovulation. It also raises progesterone levels ( a good thing). The incidence of multiple births (usually twins) on Clomid is about 5%. You will probably NOT end up as a tabloid headline with clomid!

Good luck -- after 3 years of trying (2 miscarriages, Clomid, then Pergonal), I had my first child at age 38. She is now 8 months old and the most beautiful, wonderful baby ever -- she's napping now, which is the only reason I'm able to answer any questions today!
