I am 6 weeks pregnant. I started spotting last Sunday and have spotted 7 out of 8 days. On last Tuesday, my doctor tested my blood for the hcg level which was 8300. Two days later they tested my blood for the hcg level again which came out to 11500. This was lower than he expected. It should have doubled. I am scheduled for a vaginal ultrasound tommorow. I have had no cramping. What are some other reasons my hcg levels are not doubling?
