After recieving reply from obgyn.net Dr.David Ashley Hill on July 18(see posting Re:SUA from anonymous@obgyn.net on this site). I called my OB and faxed her about 15 pages of research I had located, including the reply from this site. She stated that about 70% of SUA have normal outcome and had not meant for me to become so alarmed, but referred me to a consult with a perinatologist and to have a Level 2 Ultrasound at 22 weeks to look at the fetal heart, which is next week for me. Hopefully everything will go well and I can quit worrying which is what I have been spending most of my time doing. She also mentioned more frequent monitoring starting at about 28 weeks to watch for IUGR and doing NST's. The perinatologist consult is immediately following the ultrasound so I should know some answers. I must say that the reply I received on this website was extremely helpful in advocating for my pregnancy care. Thanks again to Dr.Hill, and good luck to you Sky.
