Nine months ago, I gave birth to an 8lb. 8oz. boy. Since then, I have had three unsuccessful surgeries to repair a recto-vaginal fistula. I have been trying to find any information about this problem, but there is not much out there. My questions are: 1. Does anyone have any information recto-vaginal fistulas and what can be done to ensure a successful repair? 2. Was it the physicians negligence that caused this? I am not looking to sue "the pants off of them" , but I would at least like to know if I have any right to ask them to help with all of these medical bills. Thank you in advance.
