Michelle, Wow...you're situation sounds REMARKABLY like mine was two short years ago. My son had turned 3 in June, my daughter one in March and I got pregnant in July. I was 9.5 weeks when I miscarried although I DID have a D&C (I wanted the miscarriage over with). When my Dr asked me about BC, I told him I intended not using as I wanted to get pregnant as quickly as possible. He just smiled.

Now, I know what I've read about having miscarriages and being able to conceive quickly thereafter, but from personal experience and those of people close to me, this is NOT the norm. Although I had periods every 27-29 days afterwards, I did NOT ovulate until the third cycle after the miscarriage in Sept. I had used an OPK in Nov and again in Dec. I didn't ovulate in Nov, did in Dec and got pregnant in Dec 3 months after the miscarriage and delivered an 8lb 10 oz baby in Sept '98.

My feelings are, you'll get pregnant when your body says it's time. If it's right away, it's right away. If it's 3-6 months later, while you may THINK that you don't need the time your body obviously did. AND if you give yourself those 3-6 months, when it happens earlier, it's a wonderful surprise. If you expect to get pregnant right away and don't, it's a terrible disappointment.

Good Luck.
