I can imagine how concerned you must be, and I hope that everything will be OK. Your doctors will be able to give you the most accurate information about your baby's condition, but I do have some info on statistics that might help.

Percentiles are widely misunderstood. Being in 95th percentile means that your baby's head is bigger than 95% of all NORMAL children, and smaller than 5% of NORMAL children. It does not mean that there is necessarily something wrong. Certainly it is a red flag that needs investigation, but the key is that there are plenty of NORMAL babies that have heads as big or even bigger than the head of your baby.
