Can anyone help me???From: Cindy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 30 Jul 1999 10:39:27 -0400
Hi, I had a level 2 US on Tuesday. I was 26 weeks pregnant and the babies head measured at 30 weeks. I was called the next day and asked to come back in today. The maternal fetal specialist did an US and found the same results. the doctor looked at all areas of the head an d saw no abnormalities. She mentioned that 90% of all babies will fall at the 50 percentile range. From 75-90 they become concerned and over 90 extremely concerned. Our baby is at 95. before the US brain damage was mentioned. I need to know if the brain appeared normal in all aspects does that mean no brain damage was evident? Can the baby still be brain damaged with no abnormalities? My children and husband all have big heads. We are praying this is just the case. Can you point us to someone that can answers these questions if no-one here can? Thank you. John and Cindy McCoy (and baby Cameron!)
